IRM in SharePoint 2013 Internet facing sites.

I am unable to do anything with office documents where IRM features applied for internet sites where as I don’t see any issue while utilizing the IRM for features for office documents when opening in the corprorate domain. Please help me. Any specific configuration to make IRM workable in the SharePoint or windows systems?
