SHAREPOINT SITE URL WEBPAGE CANNOT BE FOUND

Hi

I have two issues.

1. I am trying to point the sharepoint 2010 farm to the new sql server 2008 (Old location). Copied databases to the new server and configured sharepoint using the exisiting databases and the config database fails and it gives a long error which i dont understand but i think it has to do with languages.

2. I am trying to rollback to the old sql server 2008 (new location) which was successful the admin farm is working but the site url page cannot be found. How can i rejoin the link.
