replication in SharePoint 2010

Double Take is used for replication in SharePoint 2010. I have the following queries

1) In Disaster Recovery central admin Site, Should I recreate the content source similar to the production site. So that DR Search Administration database will be different than the Production one.

2) How to create Application Registry Service ?

3) If i restore User Profile Service databases in the DR, do I need to do profile Sync ? Can we have the same Synchronization database  in DR & Production sites
