ISO: techniques to identify content growth

On a couple of our SharePoint machines, our DBAs are reporting significant database growth. However, as far as the admins are aware, there is only a small (one person doing InfoPath) amount of development going on these machines.

Are there some powershell scripts that would permit us to narrow down what tables are experiencing the large amount of growth. Since there should be only a small amount of content (for each InfoPath workflow xml file) I am puzzled how gigabytes of growth would suddenly be occurring on the machines.
