Implementing the production VM snapshot as dev environment with the host name changed

We dont have a Dev environment. Hence we decided to take a VM snap shot of production and change the host name for Dev environment and change the SQL alias to point a dev DB and change the IP address. Do i need to change anything else apart from this to have the Dev environment Up and running.
