IIS Hardening for SharePoint Server 2010 farm

Hello.

In terms of IIS hardening for a SP 2010 farm, is it better to leave it just like it was after proper setup and configuration of the farm? Or is there a template just for IIS for SP 2010 that is recommended to apply in order to harden the IIS part?
