Recently my company merged two of it's subsidiaries. Earlier they both have their AD's, but now the AD migration took place.
We have two AD connection's in Sync Connections (Central Admin), one for the old forest and the other is new forest.
Since the users were asked to use new domain login details they were asked to use new domain login details.
So we need to migrate the permission for user in old domain to new domain as is without loosing any permissions. I ran stsadm migrate user command on test user, it worked well. But the problem is when I search for that particular user in user profile properties, I can see the user account change to newdomain\username but the rest of the fields like email etc are changed to old domain properties.
Before running the command, since the AD migration took place user properties were in good shape i.e with their respective fields.
So my problem is only after running stsadm migrate user in SharePoint.
Can someone please help me on this ?
