Delete documents and list items with Create older than 1/1/15, either through retention policy or scheduled task based on column

I have a subsite with a lot of old documents, I got the ok to delete everything Created before 1/1/15.

Initially, I wanted to set up a retention policy based on that date. OOB, document retention is limited to Created + x days/months/years. I don't think this will fit our requirements. Looking for recommendations on setting up the custom retention formula.

Alternately, I'm looking for a script that would, say, every January 1st, execute to delete items older than 2 years prior.
