Sharepoint Enterprise 2010 RSS viewer Web Part displays duplicate posts from Facebook

I've added an RSS viewer web part to one of our Sharepoint pages that streams from Facebook. This is the standard viewer with no customization or additional XML code.  The posts are duplicated in the viewer.  I deleted the web part and re added it and the problem persisted.  Then I deleted the page and added a new page with a new RSS viewer web part with the same RSS feed from facebook and the duplicate posting was still present.  I used the same RSS feed URL in my outlook and only one unique post from facebook appears in outlook, so I think this may have something to do with how the RSS viewer is configured but no option setting changes seem to make a hill of beans of difference.  Any ideas?     Thank you!
