Web analytics + Anonymous users

Got 2 WFE servers

I understand that the Number of Daily Unique Visitors contains both Authenticated users and anonymous users..is that correct?  - I've around 120 users (daily) on that parameter - but that doesn't match a 3'rd party product that's running - according to that it should be over 150000 unique users pr. month.

The 3 party product is measuring correct. 

Also the default/frontpage of the domain isn't reported in the "Top pages"... that really odd as 99,9 % of the users hits this.

Is there something special one need to do regarding a public website and Web analytic's?
