MasterPage QuickLaunch Nav Background Gradient overwriteing sharepoint search Page

Hi All,

As shown in fig.Master page Quick Launch Nav background Gradient overwrite SharePoint search page on left side with Color as shown in figure and its looking very odd How to remove that background gradient from search page only .....Did any one encounter this type of issue before plse let me the solution how to resolve the issue ASAP
