Hi,
Got an old application created at a non standard port. It was accessed as http://servername:**** by the users. We wanted to make this available via standard ports like 80 or 443.
I created a DNS entry for this in form of subdomain.domain.com
If I just change the URL of the default zone from what it is now to http://subdomain.domain.com (may be one more public URL for https as well), will this need be taken care of? I will of course double check IIS bindings.
In theory I think this will work. But just wanted to double check.
Thanks, Soumya | MCITP, SharePoint 2010
