How to install SQL Server 2012 Self-Services BI (PowerPivot, PowerView) on an existing SharePoint farm (SQL Server 2008 R2)

Hi There,

We have an SharePoint Environment like this:

• SharePoint Application Server (Windows Server 2008 R2 - SharePoint Server 2010 SP1)
• SharePoint Web Server (Windows Server 2008 R2)
• SharePoint SQL Server (Windows Server 2008 R2 - SQL Server 2008 R2)

We want to install PowerPivot and PowerView (Basically to provide the SharePoint farm with the Self-Services BI features)

Not sure what is the best way to proceed as PowerPivot 2012 and PowerView 2012 needs to be installed in the SharePoint application server from the SQL Server 2012 installation media, and not sure if there is any kind of incompatibility on that, as the farm is using  SQL Server 2008 R2, specially PowerPivot...

Any idea on what is the best way to install PowerPivot 2012 and PowerView 2012?
